Who We Are
Tek-Net Inc. was founded in 1989 by Ray Coles & Jon Petz. We felt that establishing a local service presence was critical to maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
Our warehousing and shipping departments allow us to send and receive instruments across the country safely and efficiently.
We are a true service company, not just glorified instrument cleaners. We do not service an instrument unless we can handle all aspects if it’s repair. Our technicians are regularly trained on new equipment and we constantly invest in new repair and calibration fixtures.
As former employees of AO/Reichert/Cambridge/B&L we specialize in older American Optical, Reichert and B&L instruments. We have purchased the remaining inventories for many discontinued items and are the sole source of support on instruments such as the Custom I, Custom II, Standard andPremier chair and stand lines as well as the 12603 Lensmeter and the Greens Refractor.
We are currently factory authorized service providers for Marco, Topcon, Reichert, and we service equipment of a variety of manufacturers, such as Burton, Haag Streit, Reliance, Woodlyn, Zeiss and many others.
By concentrating on service, rather than instrument sales, we remain focused on our prime objective, maintaining your equipment, for as long as you want to keep it.

DEPTH – We can repair the entire instrument. We are not afraid to work on difficult problems. Whether it is a misaligned cylinder lens in a Refractor or a bad circuit board in an NCT, we are qualified to repair the problem and put the instrument back into operation, fully functional & calibrated.
RESOURCES – You accumulate a lot of knowledge with 25 years experience in the Ophthalmic Field. We pride ourselves on being able to repair and maintain vintage equipment as well as current instrumentation. We have also accumulated an extensive parts inventory as well. We purchased the manufacturing inventory for the Greens Refractor, 12603 Lensometer, Custom I, Custom II, Standard and Premier Chair & Stand lines among others. We also have parts made when regular inventories are depleted. The result is that we can keep your instruments functioning when other companies throw in the towel.
