There are 2 main types of Ophthalmoscopes,  Hand Held phthalmoscopes & Retinoscopes and Binocular Indirect Ophthalmoscopes, which are worn on the head.

Our technicians are specialists in aligning & calibrating your instrument. We have loaner Ophthalmoscopes, Retinoscopes & BIO’s of all types available for your use. We do not charge for loaner use. All you are responsible for are the shipping costs.

  • Check socket and lamp housing.
  • Check headband assembly.
  • Verify collimation of BIO Viewer.
  • Check power supply & wiring.
  • Ensure BIO hanger is secure.
